Refund Policies by Service

Individual Coaching

First Session Guarantee

• 100% refund if you're not satisfied after your first coaching session

• Request must be made within 48 hours of the session

Coaching Packages

• Refund for unused sessions if discontinued within first 30 days

• Prorated refund = (unused sessions ÷ total sessions) × package price

• No refunds after 30 days, but sessions may be paused for up to 6 months

Cancellation Policy

• Reschedule or cancel with 24 hours notice: No charge

• Less than 24 hours notice: Session is forfeited

• Emergency situations evaluated case-by-case

Workshops

Early Cancellation (7+ days before)

• 100% refund minus $25 processing fee

• Option to transfer registration to future workshop

Late Cancellation (3-6 days before)

• 50% refund OR 100% credit toward future workshop

Last Minute (Less than 72 hours)

• No refund, but 50% credit toward future workshop

• Exceptions for documented emergencies

Workshop Cancellation by Nowlings

• 100% refund if we cancel for any reason

• Option to transfer to rescheduled date if available

Community Circles (Memberships)

Monthly Memberships

• Cancel anytime before next billing cycle

• No partial month refunds

• Access continues through end of paid period

Annual Memberships

• 30-day money-back guarantee from purchase date

• After 30 days: Prorated refund for unused months if canceling due to:

  • Job loss or role change

  • Medical leave

  • Other extenuating circumstances (case-by-case)

Digital Products & Resources

Downloadable Materials

• Due to the digital nature, no refunds once downloaded

• Preview samples available before purchase when possible

Online Courses

• 7-day money-back guarantee from enrollment

• Must have completed less than 25% of course content

Sliding Scale & Scholarship Recipients

Donation-Based Services

"Pay what you can" contributions are considered donations and are non-refundable. These funds support other educators in need.

How to Request a Refund

2. Include:

   • Your name and purchase date

   • Service type and amount paid

   • Reason for refund request

   • How we could have better served you (optional but appreciated)

3. Response Time: We process refund requests within 3 business days

Processing Details

• Timeline: Approved refunds processed within 5-7 business days

• Method: Refunded to original payment method

• Confirmation: Email confirmation sent when processed

Tax Implications

As our 501(c)(3) status is pending, refunds of donations may have different tax implications than refunds for services. Consult your tax advisor if needed.

Keep all receipts and correspondence for your records.
